WHAT IS NEW FOR 2026?

Previously, the Geneva Auto Show was sponsored by local importers and Swiss car dealers. However, Switzerland is a small country, and the costs for these car importers became too high. This financial strain, coupled with the impact of Covid, led to difficulties for the previous management team. The new management team decided to change the business model. Swiss car importers are no longer the sponsors; instead, car manufacturers have taken over as the new sponsors. The Geneva International Auto Show is a global event, not just a local one. With the reach of social media and television, news of a new model can be broadcast worldwide in seconds. Therefore, the business model needed to be adapted to reflect the current market realities.

The Geneva International Auto Show will feature the best social media bloggers from platforms like TikTok and YouTube. Influencers from France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, the UK, and other countries will be part of the event, bringing their unique perspectives and extensive reach to showcase the latest innovations and highlights of the show. Their participation ensures that the excitement and developments of the event are shared with a global audience in real-time.

From 2026, the Geneva International Auto Show introduces an exciting competition where attendees can cast their votes for various awards. These prestigious awards include: Car of the Year 2026, Best Electric Car 2026, Best Hybrid Car 2026, Most Sustainable Car 2026, Most Elegant Car 2026, Most Luxurious Car 2026, Most Comfortable Car 2026, Fastest Car 2026, Most Innovative Car 2026, Best SUV 2026, and Best Convertible 2026. Bigger and better than ever before, The Geneva International Auto Show 2026 will be taking place in several venues instead of the traditional Palexpo. This expansion allows for more space to showcase a greater number of cars and car manufacturers, making the event more comprehensive and inclusive. Regrettably, the previous management team chose to step down. However, we have decided to replace them in order to ensure the continuation of this historic Auto Show in Geneva.
